"Lovely Hotel, rightly known as The Forest in the City .
Staff are friendly & helpful, the Breakfast ranks alongside others in much bigger Hotels. The only small gripe would be that it is (admitedly only a 10 minute walk) a bit of a walk into Town & the Old City and a shortage of Bars/Supermarkets locally, none of this is a problem. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" | ||

"the hotel is chinese decoration and the room i booked is not in the main building. The room is very long with 3 seperated sections, living room, bath room and bed room. The only problem that i had to upgrade the room to the main building is the bed. It s a very old wooden bed that makes a very ugly noise every time you move on the bed. i travel alone so it s so annoying that a 1100 THB/ night room is worth for." | ||

"Good things I want say: Nice rooms, clean sheets, beautiful wood floors, with good pool(not use). It is remote, but that s why we chose to stay just want to see the Thai village. Fresh air, hotel is surrounded by rice field.
Fact statement, no judgement:
1.no easy transportation service, any requested transportation is expensive.
2.A six year old boy was charged 200B upfront for daily breakfast for three days (600B in total, while all other hotels are free for that age boy/girl)when we checked in, we wanted to pay by credit card since we did not have that much cash on hand at the moment, and the hotel staff told us that would be 1000B. We found all the money to pay 600 cash for my little boy.
3.The food is not professional, the owner offered to cook for us, but was almost uneatable. This is our 7th trip in Thailand, we know the taste of Thai cuisine.
4. Hotel taxi is more expensive than any other hotel in Thailand we stayed.

"This is a nice hotel with beautiful decoration. I, with my wife and son stayed for three nights (Jan. 24-26th).
Everything seemed good except only one thing. Our depature flight is in the early morning and I told the Hotel that we had to check out around 6:30AM. Since the breakfast starts at 7:00AM, I told them afternoon the day before we check out that it s OK that we would not take the breakfast. When I checked out at 6:30AM I was informed that we had to pay THB500 for my son s breakfast for two days as the room rate only included the breakfast for two persons. I asked if it s possible to exempt it because we don t take today s breakfast. The Hotel staff s reply is I ve already prepared today s breakfast and you can take it now . In fact there s nothing prepared in the kitchen at that time (PS. there re only 12 rooms in this Hotel. The cook makes the breakfast as per guest s order.).
Of course the room rate didn t include my son s breakfast and I should pay and paid for it. THB500 is the small money. However if I were the manager of the hotel I would not charge it. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" | ||

"I fell in love with the hotel 3 years ago when I walked pass.
The second the 6 of us arrived the hotel, we wanted to make our stay longer. We love Chiang Mai and We love U.
It was my cousin s birthday and the hotel made us a beautiful cake, every day fresh fruits provided, we give 9.8 for the hotel.
Only -0.2 due to the towels and walls in the rooms are quite worn out.
We will return for sure and glad that we made the right choice" |
