by Kenneth Chi Kin Sun Visit Date:January 20, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Terrible place to stay at. I will not recommend this place to anyone. The major problem is the safety deposit boxes in the room does not work. All the guests have to use the safety deposit box at the front desk. The boxes are not big and cannot stores big items like slr camera or laptop. Breakfast buffet is the worst I ever had. Very little varieties. They are no one cooking eggs. Have to ask and wait for someone to cook for u. Wait time is 10 minutes. Foods are run out at 9:00. Breakfast start from 7:30 to 10.00. The waitress are very unfriendly. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
by Jimmy Udom Visit Date:January 1, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Hotel was pretty run down. Definitely needs a remodel. Only positive is the location. Walking distance to beach and shopping. Breakfast wasn t great, rooms were spacious but needs some remodeling. The door handle to our room had a difficult time unlocking. Hotel staff had mentioned that this was not the only occurrence. Swimming pool was okay and the fitness room was run down just like the rooms. Would not recommend to other potential guest. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

No problems, January 6, 2009 by Phil Visit Date:December 22, 2008 "Not very friendly impersonal hotel, large rooms but with few furnitures, water pressure low and hot water not even warm !" |
This service was quite good with a swift reply to my bookin., September 25, 2008 by John Dodds Visit Date:September 23, 2008 "A Large but well arranged hotel right near the beach, well almost on the beach! Yet a quiet part of Pattaya, rooms well designed with a lovely sea view. Good buffet breakfast and I would go back again when I travel to Pattaya." |
Fine - No problem, December 10, 2007 by Mike Higgs Visit Date:November 8, 2007 "This hotel has great views across Pattaya Bay and is well located. This hotel must be 20 years old now and the rooms are a bit old, run down & tatty with the bathroom in a bad state. The pool is good but the breakfast could be improved. The reception staff are not in the least helful. There are many many better places to stay for the price paid. " |
Booking service worked fine. , October 31, 2007 by Ernando Lopacinski Visit Date:October 23, 2007 "We stay at Mark Land on Oct. 2007 for 4 days. The hotel is ok for the price. Nice from outside and a little bit old, may be 20-25 years. The room was big and clean and nice ocean view.
The bathroom is not compatible with the room but everything was working fine. There is a refrigerator with drinks and other stuff, a big wardrobe. Sheets clean and comfortable bed. No internet but you can find a internet café very close to the hotel.
Tip: There is a construction on left side and rooms at that side there is a lot noise after 7 AM. Also the view is not good. When book, ask a room on the other side. We stayed a first night and then asked to move to other side.
The safe is on front desk, is not convenient but worked well and it appears be very safety.
The breakfast was a plus with a lot diversified food, including a lunch food, as rice, salads, thai food, etc. It is served on the 27th floor and the view is wonderful. We just visit the swimming pool and looked good, very clean. The spa in front of hotel also was a plus.
Tip: When ordering transportation to Bangkok airport, the reception offer a private car that actually is a real private car, not from a tourism company. I recommend not use this system because showed up a old car without air conditioned. We complained and the car was replaced. I suggest use a van from a tourism agency.
Tip about the beach: The beach was fine but if you walk toward the Dusit Resort at the end on Pattaya beach, walk beside a rock wall, after that point the beach is quite and not too many people there.
Tip about food: If you go a little farther from the main avenues you can find nice restaurants for the half price.

Fast and reliable, August 17, 2007 by Lee Ray Feng Visit Date:August 10, 2007 "Nice hotel. Good location. Friendly staffs. Worth the money we paid. Good facilities. The buffet was very nice." |
Pretty smooth., March 27, 2007 by Anonymous Visit Date:March 22, 2007 "I can recommend this hotel to others, provided that you can accept the downsides. What I liked: spacious rooms, amazing views, balcony, free breakfast, and good facilities (pool, ping pong, fitness). The location will be good for many tourists: close to the beach and Big-C. The more interesting areas are within easy reach but not in your face. What I didn t like: the room was a little worn out and had several minor problems, there was no wireless internet in the hotel, and the breakfast buffet was mediocre quality (although the view was awesome). Overall, a good value at the price I paid. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
