by Dr Leong Seng Keen Visit Date:April 8, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Great location, excellent personal service, quiet and yet near to night bazaar and east bank of Mae Ping river. Great fantastic hotel with all amenities and thoughtful details. Although at a premium pricing, it lives up to its expectation as a 5 star hotel. Strong recommend if one can afford !!" |
by Elisabeth Anderson Visit Date:October 26, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "This is a fantastic place to stay, the hotel is luxurious, with beautiful gardens, pool, water features and night time lighting. There are many nice places to hang out, either at one of the bars, or the large lobby where you can even play chess. The pool service is outstanding, as are all the staff. English is very well spoken, and the food is superb! Will definately go back! <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

by Mr TAN Visit Date:November 19, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Had always wanted to stay in Chedi everytime I travelled to Chiangmai. This is my first stay there and Chedi really lives up to its name and quality. All the staff are friendly, from the reception to housekeeping to the restaurant. It s nice to be remembered by name and always greeted with a smile everywhere you go. Even when you wait in the lobby, someone will bring you a glass of cold water without you requesting for it. It s nice gestures like this that make this place so endearing. Will be back, no doubt !" |

Excellent. The whole process was very straight forward., April 15, 2009 by Niamh Culligan Visit Date:April 10, 2009 "AMAZING hotel! We took the stay 6 nights for the price of 4 deal.
The hotel itself is pretty much in the heart of Chiang Mai but has completely peaceful surroundings once inside. We were within walking distance to the night markets and restuarants such as Antique House.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and service was of a very high standard.
The Chedi s restaurant, bar, pool and spa were also of very high standard.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay! <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

September 4, 2008 by Leanna Lynch Visit Date:August 30, 2008 "My mom & I both agreed that the Chedi was the nicest hotel we ve ever stayed at. Everyone was so friendly & eager to help us with whatever we needed. The spa was incredible, & we also loved the pool & workout facilities. The food was to die for, & the service was the best we ve ever had & we know because we travel to nice places often. The tours we booked through Chedi were so much fun & we really enjoyed our tour guide, Handsom. He was great. Overall our stay was phenominal & we would love to go back to the Chedi & will reccommend it to all of our friends in California." |
No problems - answered all my questions promptly.Easier than booking directly with hotel and cheaper., July 14, 2008 by Therese Bourke Visit Date:July 4, 2008 "Stayed in the Club Suite - outstanding accommodation and service.Rooms spacious and luxurios (2 children in room with us - no problem)Laundry and mini bar all included.Staff very friendly and always helpful. One of the best hotels I have stayed in- beautiful architure and very peaceful even though it is located in town.10 minute walk to night market." |
Excellent service, they respond asap, forwarded all my requests to the hotel. They also had the cheapest rates for this hotel during my trip, I cross referenced with Expedia, Asiaroons and many others, sawasdee was the only one with the off season promo!, June 16, 2008 by Rennier Hernandez Visit Date:June 7, 2008 "We had a wonderful stay at The Chedi, yes it is expensive but for a treat it was well worth it! Service was exceptional all the frontliners spoke excellent english, the front desk staff even helped me book a car from a taxi company for my side trips and airport transfer without hardselling their hotel car!
Breakfast was wonderful, they served a lot of thai fruits and cooked to order the main dishes, lots of fresh squeeezed juices, coldcuts, cheese and diff. bread varieties on the buffet as well. Pool and spa really made the difference, I didn t want to go home anymore. Location is smack in the city, the Night Bazaar and anusarn market is just a short walk away. This hotel is best suited for couples I think all rooms have a huge balcony and king size beds, free wifi all over the place, excellent toiletries, 4 bottles of water daily, fruits in the room...a man could easily be spoiled rotten staying there!
We stayed 6 nights could easily stay 3 weeks if cost is of no option but alas there is that nasty thing called work that beckons once more sigh. Best hotel I ever stayed in, beats the stuffing off Shangrila. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
Booking was simple and easy on sawadee. No problem when registering at the Chedi., May 12, 2008 by Loretta Visit Date:May 6, 2008 "The Chedi is PERFECT. It offers a good change from the likes of traditional architecture style of resorts like Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental. Chedi is located in the city centre and it is very convenient to visit all the tourists sights. The service and the attention to details at the Chedi are AMAZING...second to none. The Spa Massage@ the Chedi is the best we have had...it was much better than the massage we had at the Four Seasons. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED." |
Booking process was reliable and efficient., March 14, 2008 by Stewart FAIRGRIEVE Visit Date:March 1, 2008 "This was probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in and the staff, support and service were second to none.
