No sabia como estaba Bangkok despues de la muerte de 60 personas en los sucesos políticos de mayo, y quise quedarme cerca del aeropuerto. Era el 23 y 24 de mayo.Otra vez el servicio de recogida del aeropuerto fue excelente. Esta vez probé a ir del hotel a la estacion On Nuit del skytren que es la mas próxima en taxi desde el hotel. Los del hotel me lo llamaron. Era un domingo. El taxi tardo media hora en hacer 21.3 Km y cobró 160 Bath. Luego en el tren en 15 minutos estabamos en pleno centro. Es muy facil. La misma avenida que pàsa por la puerta del hotel pasa por la estación del sky. Solo faltando unos 200 m (hay un carrefour a la izquierda...estas llegando) hace tope contra otra avenida y dobla a la izquierda. Es imposible perderse.Al dia siguiente hice lo mismo en la hora pico. 7 de la mañana, Tardo una hora por los atascos y cobro 200 bath.Volvi de noche a las 20:00. Tardo media hora 160 bath....IMPORTANTE: pedir a la recepcionista del hotel la direccion del hotel en Thai. La tienen impresa. Tambien te dan un plano. Esto es en general en toda Tailandia.Cuando pides un taxi no lo llaman por TE. Un boy del hotel va hasta la avenida ( 50 m) y pide uno....es igual ir a la avenida y tomarlo. Veniamos de un viaje desde Buenos Aires via japon. Unas 24 hs de vuelo, Y la gente del hotel estaba alli para recogernos. Estan a la salida de las valijas en el sector entre A y B numero 4. Es el segundo piso del aeropuerto.Me sorprendio encontrarlos con mi nombre correctamente impreso. El hotel muy bien para el precio. Habitacion limpia, Aire acondicionado OK ( hacia 37 C afuera). Agua caliente y toallas limpias. Muy bien !!. Personal atento. NO reservar con desayuno. Hay un supermarket enfrente abierto toda la noche !!. Tambien hay puestos callejeros de comida.No vale la pena duplicar precio por el desayuno. Por 3 o 4 dolares se puede desayunar en el market. El hotel tiene una zona de mesas y bancos fuera donde tambien se puede desayunar lo que se compra en el mercado. Perfecto para una noche. Esta a una media hora de la estacion del BTS On Nut ( que es la mas cercana ). Esto cuesta unos 160 Bath.
