by Nicola Hladky Visit Date:July 29, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "I stayed here for one night on my return to Bangkok after travelling over Thailand for my last night I wanted to be central. The location of Siam city couldn t be better as you can get the airport express train for b150 return and the train station is just across the street from the hotel. Jump on the sky train and two stops later u will arrive at the central shopping centres. Overall couldn t ask for anything better from this hotel." |
by Raypoth Visit Date:June 10, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The very glitzy web site and smart frontage weren t matched by the room - which had a rather musty and damp smell about it. The en-suite bathroom badly needed refurbishment. The Reception staff were not at all helpful or welcoming when we arrived.
Restaurant was good.
There are plenty of alternatives in this area at the price." |
Thorough, efficient and helpful. It was all very easy., February 6, 2009 by Vicki Fox Visit Date:January 24, 2009 "Siam City was great; the room was huge for 4 of us, breakfast generous and varied and the service excellent. The decor is a little dated but it didn t impinge on our stay at all. The pool was freezing, which meant the kids had exclusive use of it! The location near the Sky train was good." |
Prompt Booking Service, no problems at all., July 23, 2008 by John Visit Date:July 16, 2008 "Quite Nice if you like the business style room decor. Doesn t feel like a Holiday Resort if that s what you re looking for. But this hotel does seem to have everything. The doormen are extremely friendly and will help with pretty much anything you can conceive of. The Breakfast variety is wide and the service is very very good. The location is great as it s close to the skytrain. I rate it 8/10" |
excellent.. staff very friendly and provided professional service, June 30, 2008 by Tina Younan Visit Date:June 23, 2008 "we arrived early and would not let us check in as the room was unavailable but allowed us to pay extra for the executive suites in which we checked in right away. room and facilities were beautiful, particularly receiving additional benefits made our stay more enjoyable. for example, fruit basket in the room and free drinks btwn 5 and 7 pm <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
No problems with booking the room., April 29, 2008 by Andrew Baird Visit Date:April 24, 2008 "We have had only positive experiences of Siam City Hotel. First, the staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. They entirely overcame my normal cynicism regarding the face of hospitality. The location is good, very close to the BTS sky train (Phaya Thai station), only a few stops from several big shopping centres and markets. The rooms are good the facilities are great, but above all the service makes it a pleasure (and sometimes a relief) to walk into the lobby. When we arrived tired from a long flight at 7am the counter staff arranged for us to check in as early as 930am rather than the usual 2pm. And as we were checking out the next day at 5am, too early for breakfast, they gave us breakfast on checkin instead. This was our second visit and we would not even look anywhere else next time we come to BK. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

Excellent service!!, February 28, 2008 by Di Poi Elena Visit Date:February 22, 2008 "We had a deluxe double room n.808 which was a beautiful new styled room; very clean, nice and confortable. Excellent staff; very good meals and breakfast. the Hotel is located close to the main shopping stores but it is not a easy place to have a walk as the hotel is situated in front of the highways; better take a taxi outside the hotel to reach the shopping areas!

Excellent service, very easy to use, October 4, 2007 by Nigel Bugg Visit Date:September 24, 2007 "This hotel has a pleasant ambience in the Thai style. Staff found to be very friendly and helpful. Comfortable lounge/bar area for relaxing after a busy day. Good location and a short ride to shopping areas. Breakfast selection and evening buffet was excellent.
We have stayed in Bangkok on many previous trips, at other hotels, and would rate Siam City well against other hotels of similar standard and location. Overall would recommend to others. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
Thank you sawadee, great service, no problem at all, September 18, 2007 by carla Visit Date:August 2, 2007 "Very nice hotel not too far from city centre, we were in a deluxe room and waas very big and clean, the food at the restaurants was good and we had a fantastic breakfast. There s a nice and clean swimming pool and a beautiful spa, but it s a little expensive, the staff is very friendly and helpful and if we return to Bangkok we ll sure go again to Siam City <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
The booking service was fast and effecient., June 19, 2007 by John Mascola Visit Date:May 27, 2007 "I enjoyed my 4-night stay at this hotel.
The room was nicely furnished, although the bathroom amenities are sparse compared to other hotels in SE Asia.
The hotel offered a reasonably priced public internet service in the lobby.
I took most of my meals in the hotel cafe because it was reasonably priced and because it also served tasty, well presented food.
The hotel was only 1 block away from the skytrain, and two stations away from Siam Center. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
Excellent, never a problem, May 27, 2007 by Eric Gliessman Visit Date:May 19, 2007 "The Siam City Hotel is a hidden gem in Bangkok, we spent 2 nights in a 15th floor room overlooking greater Bangkok. The room was very well appointed and well maintained. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The pool on the 6th floor roof was a great place to cool off after a day out in Bangkok. Both the Thai and Italian restaurants in the Hotel do a beautiful job of serving dinner. This is a true 5 star hotel at 3 star prices, we will stay again. " |
