Runned by the lovely couple Pan and Kit who are the sweetest people ever.
How ever, at the time we were there, the kitchen was not fully staffed. Breakfast was served quite late and more or no less no lunch or dinner could be served. Hopefully they have found more staff for the kitchen by now." |

On beautiful Ban Thai beach, nice and chilled out! Some good restaurants and bars, within close reach. Rooms are quite basic, but so is the price. Although very clean, and safe in room. The pool and beach more than make up for it though... Staff really friendly and went out of their way to help us, we got a personal lift to the ferry at 6am!! March 25, 2009 by Sergio Ponce de Leon Visit Date:March 13, 2009 "It was a little expensive, but a very nice place. I think they start dropping the price if you stay for at least 4 nights. Pan (sp?) was such a warm and friendly manager/owner (?) of the place. Lot s of cats and dogs running around. Nice pool, OK beach front (but you can always walk up and down this beach [Ban Tai] to find other beaches during the day and bungalow bars at night). Good food, although if you order eggs for breakfast tell them not to cook too long! Close enough to Haad Rin and very close to Thongsala (I really like the location in between the two). You can easily rent motorbikes (they will call someone for you) to drive around the rest of the island, but be careful of some of the hilly roads especially heading towards Haad Rin. They will also book ferry s for you. Not a lot of night action at this particular bungalow, but again, you can always walk up and down the beach at night to find a bar or just taxi to Haad Rin. Overall, very content.

Very efficient, March 8, 2009 by Visit Date:March 3, 2009 "For anyone looking for peace and quiet: this is the perfect spot. Comfortable bungalows, lovely well kept gardens, a nice little swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Two minor things: the restaurant food is a bit disappointing,
and there is not enough shade on the beach; large umbrellas would solve this problem. A lovely place to relax." |

Great clean swimming pool and very well kept gardens.The private beach was the best beach in Ban Tai and cleaned and raked each morning to make it look immaculate.
The Bungalow was clean and well apointed it even had a bath tub,everything worked and was clean and modern.The staff were great and helpful as was the owner who went out of her way to make sure everything was just right.
Food was good quality very cheap and quick which we didnt expect after previose comments on time taken to prepare food.
Dont expect a party as this resort is quiet and relaxing.
If you dont choose the Rungarun when staying in Ban Tai then you are making a mistake and will miss out on perhaps the best place to stay between Tongsala and haad Rin.
I will be back for sure and didnt want to leave.
Everything was perfect for us which is hard to get when booking on line,the photos dont do this place justice.
