by Dietrich Sherry Visit Date:April 7, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Appeared to be only one other room occupied when we arrived, so buffet breakfast not offered for first 3 days. Very limited fixed menu only. The lunch/dinner menu looked unappealing (actuaally aa pathetic attempt) with what appeared to be 3 varieties of canned soup offered amongst other things. Water presssure in room poor and imposssible to maintain a consistent water temperature. With a few exceptions, staff generally inattentive and inefficient. At times in the dining/bar area there were 5 staff members chatting and doing nothing. Oudoor furniture poorly maintained. Limited attractions info in foyer and poorly displayed. This may be because )when the hotel filled up it was apparent) that the guests were 95% Thai. Large construction project adjacent to hotel. The pool area on that side was unscreened. It wouldn t be too much trouble to plant a few trees...better in the long term too. WiFi not included and charged at a crazy 100 Baht for 30 minutes. Spa way overpriced for this level of hotel...didn t see one customer in there in 5 days. On the plus side: Large room which was cleaned very well. Large clean pool.Good location for Takiab Beach. I don t feel that the management of this hotel have much of a clue. With a little tweaking this could be a great place. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
by โกวิท โกศินานนท์ Visit Date:October 31, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Nice and neat accomodation. The location is quite okay for those travellers on backpack as it situates just next to the local pick up-bus (rod song taew) station. The view from the room is mediocre as it is not on the beach, it is hill side view. However, it is next to local temple as well which some may not like." |
by Thomas James Ragon Visit Date:August 29, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The Napalai was new and clean. The location wasn t to near any attractions. Much construction going next door to the hotel which made things noisy and the roads dusty. The staff were nice/helpful." |
by Khun Tinnakon Chhatrasen Visit Date:March 7, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "I and my family had two day stay at the resort, it was a pleasure to be there for business with some relax purpose. The room are spacious, clean and feeling at ease. The bathroom is above our expectation with separated bathtub and shower room. The drawback for this resort is there is no view of the beach and seashore at all, and walking to such area isnot pleased for us - it is too far for kids. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

by Kay Visit Date:February 14, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very nice hotel with very good rooms. Perfect service. Breakfast was OK but not 3 or 4star standart. The pool is great but the ocean is to far away.
We will come back again." |
by Rolf-Martin Bloom Visit Date:October 31, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very nice hotel with good service. Most of the staff spoke very poor English. The internet is very slow, and functioned only sporadically. We had to pay 800 Bath when we stayed 6 hours extra, i.e. from check out time 12:00, even the fact the hotel had few gests at that time. I think it was a lot of fuss about that. The children were not allowed to swim in the pool after 7 PM?!" |

Easy as alway., December 16, 2008 by Line Jorgensen Visit Date:November 15, 2008 "A bit far from the action. Although the action is a bit slowpaced, since most of the people you ll meet in Hua Hin are retired Scandinavian people.
Had a deluxe room, and it was beautiful. Big and with a great balcony. Skizo plumbing means either scolding hot or freezing cold water out of the shower. We went for the freezing cold.
Except from management the staff speak very little English. My girlfriend is half thai, and one of the first days when she arrived back from a spa day in the city (I was golfing, many great golf courses in the area), one of the reception girls wouldn t let her have the key to the room, which my girlfriend found very upsetting. I don t think the reception girl meant any offence, but it does pose a problem.
It s a startour hotel, so expect to run into Danes, Swedes and Norwegian people. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
Very quick, no problems., November 1, 2008 by Russ Visit Date:October 25, 2008 "Positives: Hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Nice pool. Room was nice and bathroom large and clean. Negatives: Buffet breakfast not up to the standard of the hotel, and bad selection of TV channels, but these are minor complaints! Overall, a nice place. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

Service as good as ever. I had to book an extra night here and had confirmation within a few hours., September 30, 2008 by Ronad James Boyer Visit Date:September 27, 2008 "My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Napalai. Our deluxe room with balcony overlooking the swimming pool area was very spacious and was definitely worth the extra money. I have been travelling for a few months now and I would say the staff at Napalai are amongst the friendliest I have encountered, although not much English spoken. Everything in the hotel was spotlessly clean and a pleasure to live there. Hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to either of two beaches or fishing village and taxi stand directly opposite hotel entrance. Also, there are some new shops and restaurants just across from hotel. Tip:- Minibus service (green taxis) into Hua Hin only costs 10 Baht per person and terminus is about 5 minutes walk from hotel (compared to up to 200 Baht for normal taxi)." |
