by Jonas Rydstrom Visit Date:April 8, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Not a very good hotel. Maybe cheap. Bad aircondiction, realy hard and old beds, bad toilet, the water does not go away when shower, the toliet gut clugged at once, old building with old things. The staff was very understanding and helpful and did what they could. We leaved the hotel to find a new one more close to the centre of chaweng after only one night even if we payed for 2 nights (4 was booked). <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

no problem, March 31, 2008 by Rose-Marie Kloveras Visit Date:March 15, 2008 "Warning. Dont stay at this hotel.Broken bed,a lot of traffic outside." |
fast and efficient, March 25, 2008 by Vadim Lustiger & Tatiana Visit Date:February 26, 2008 "This hotel is perfect solution for these with low budget! It is located at the end of Chaweng and it takes about 15 minutes walk to get to the center there you can find shops, restaurants and good beaches with water activities (those next to the hotel are with shallow water). Good thing is that the hotel located far from the noise.
The rooms are big and cozy, modern decorated and comfortable. No hot water though but you don t need it when it is hot, which means, the most of the year.
Disadvantage is that reception open at 9 AM and closed around 9 PM and not 24 hours. But the staff was very friendly and fulfilled any our request.
In general, we enjoyed our stay very much, even prolonged it, and we would certainly recommend this hotel!

Fine, January 27, 2008 by Mr Stephen Ellaway Visit Date:January 20, 2008 "Hotel was good for the money and considering that it was the cheapest I could find was better then I expected. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned daily and the shower room was good. TV was also a bonus. Downsides were that the room smelled slightly musty and the hotel is located a little out of town. Overall though a good place." |
Sawadee was a wonderful booking service. They are professional, and any queries are answered quickly. , January 27, 2008 by susan burn Visit Date:January 16, 2008 "I really liked this hotel. It is on the main road in Chaweng, but not in the thick of it. We booked the big suite and had a lot of room, 2 beds, sunbeds and tv.
The staff are lovely, and there are lots of things nearby, like really god local massage places, shops, a chemist next door, jeep and bike hire across the street (very nice lady runs it).
It took less than 10 minutes to walk to the beach, which by night is lined with outdoor restaurants and seaside tables.
The only thing to remember is they don t change the towels everyday, so hang them up after you use them. The bathroom could use abit more of a scrub in the nooks and crannies, but that seems to be standard throughout the hotels we stayed in in Thailand.
If you want a well priced, out of the way but walkable hotel, with nice people, book the Moonlight. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
