Very near action packed Bangla Rd, and about 15mins walk to the beach. Room is big and facilities generally good. Buffet breakfast is the same for the 4 days I stayed there. Shopping is ok, but generally similar to city like shopping malls. Phi Phi island is a must-visit!!But try to arrange for a day or two stay at Phi Phi. It is ok to miss Phang Nga bay as it is generally a boat ride and meal at gypsy village (simply exorbitant price!!). There is an authentic small restuarant near hotel next to Bangla rd called No.6 restuarant which serves cheap and clean Thai food.
