by Milana Visit Date:August 31, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: "Stayed at a private pool villa. Was worth every penny of it))) Booked via R24, which was cheaper than booking directly at the hotel (7,000 Bhat compared to 9,000)! Perfect location if you want a completely remote place to yourself. The first three days we didn t see other guests at all)) Quite a good restaurant, but prices are higher than somewhere outside. The problem is that to get anywhere outside (to other beaches with shopping and eating), you need a taxi, which is 15-20 dollars one way. But it is definitely the quitest beach (Lipa Noi) on the island. But this was rather an advantage for me. Free Wi-Fi (good) in the room, two PCs with the Internet in the lobby. Very good massage (10 dollars per hour) opposite the hotel. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
Very good. We have used sawadee several times now and it always works perfect., July 24, 2009 by Torill Algrøy Visit Date:July 9, 2009 "This is a very nice resort on the west part of Samui. We have stayed at Lipa Noi beach 3 times and this is a very quiet place to be. We like to begin our holiday here. Just relax, turn the clock since we come from Norway and are 6 hours behind Thailand in time. Lovely resort, great staff! Would not stayed here for weeks, but 3-6 nights are fine. Very romantic place. Can recommend it for everybody and specially for a loving couple because it is very quiet here, you have the sun set every evening and a lovely beach just a few steps away. We were 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 12 years), staying in a family villa close to the pool. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
The booking process we seamless and vouchers were received on time. No issues faced during the booking and the staff were able to clarify all doubts over email., June 29, 2009 by Shreyans Dugar Visit Date:June 24, 2009 "The hotel was in a great location in a very isolated beach... it was neat and clean and rooms were also well kept. The service of the hotel staff was courteous and they helped me out on whatever issues we had. The only challenge I had was on vegetarian food, the options for which were limited." |

Smooth and safe. Good., October 8, 2008 by Loh Valerie Teh Fen Visit Date:July 9, 2008 "It is a small, simple and charming hotel. But above all, staff is very kind and very helpful. The beach is beautiful and you have a kind of alone in the world feeling . I highly recommand this hotel as it is a very good value for money option in a preserved environment, far from tourism spots. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
fast and efficient , June 10, 2008 by Menkoe Visit Date:May 16, 2008 "very nice small 4 star hotel on Samui s probably last quiet beach. We enjoyed our stay in one of the pool villas tremendously, the villas are modern and clean and the private pool just big enough for a late night dip – standard in the villas: big LCD screen, DVD player and a shower from starship enterprise? The reservation staff where extremely friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is slightly overpriced but ok . Breakfast was unfortunately a let down; we would have preferred a small buffet. No jet skies or hawkers to be seen on this long beach . – Rent a scooter and Nathon is a mere 5 minutes away. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

reliable, informative, in one word excellent !, June 10, 2008 by CHRISTIAN MITATY Visit Date:May 15, 2008 "The Kanok Buri Resort in Koh-Samui is a perfect place to rest: beautifully appointed and very clean room (we had a pool villa for 8 nights) with a good bed if you like a firm matress like we do,nice indoor/outdoor restaurant(and a choice of 5 different breakfasts, good enough to our standards, despite some other negative comments),very kind and helpful service (special thanks to Ms Kung!), manicured lush tropical garden, beautiful and clean beach, new fitness room with A/C(just on the other side of the road), beach towels galore (not displayed on the hotel s website)and free internet access (not insuite).Note that the location is 45 mns drive from the airport and Cheweng or Bo-Phut(but we were looking for a remote place,so no bad surprise for us),but you can rent unexpensive scooters from the reception to wander around easily. Among the small improvements at the restaurant,we would have appreciated to have more details about food or cocktails to avoid to eat or drink the same things everyday(personnel is not very trained to explain, though very kindly),more different fruit would be have been welcome(watermelon and pinapple are enough for a couple of times, and mangos or rambutans are available on every market at the season(we unsuccessfully have asked several times). These are small details as the Kanok Buri Resort remains a very good choice if you are looking for a human-scale and luxurious resort away from the Ibiza-style ambience and a very corteous staff. Our only regret was not to have tried a massage under the sala facing the sea (something we will try next time for sure!). [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
booking service worked perfectly, specialy considering our date changes requests, April 1, 2008 by Susana Goncalves Visit Date:March 13, 2008 "Kanok Buri Resort is a marvellous place, the beach is good and the staff only desire to make us feel welcome was authentic and made us indeed feel special. A unique place to spend with your significant other, away from all. I d definitely recommended to my friends. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

December 12, 2007 by Makiko Shinohara Visit Date:December 1, 2007 "My husband and I were there in the beginning of December, The hotel was an ideal place to wind down and relax. The staff are very friendly, The room (garden view cottage) was clean, comfortable and nicely designed. However, The bathtub and Shower unit in our room could have been bigger.
The Beach in front of the hotel was beautiful, quiet and clean. The food was also very good.
We would definitly reccomend this resort and the beach!! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
