Although I had paid for a superior room i was given a standard room. As is so far from everything one has to take meals in hotel and the quality is not good. Not the best place for small kids as the river is really moving quickly and is dangerous for kids.
Breakfast is typical Thai Style buffet, don t write mom about it.
The location is ONLY good for those with their own vehicles. Even with this it is 25 mins to the main part of town." |

Similar rooms could be had for 150-290 baht at say, Jolly Frog at the guesthouse strip along Th Mae Nam Khwae. That being said, the location could be a plus point if all you want is a restful holiday away from the bars of Th Mae Nam Khwae. On the downside the resort is on the other side of the river from Kanchanburi and is a little bit on the far away side from any night life, but you can walk to the river kwai bridge (I did).
