by Reinholz Visit Date:March 15, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very overpriced, you just pay the beautiful view over Lamai, not even a real breakfast buffet offered for so much money." |
by Karen Bayliss Visit Date:January 17, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Another wonderful stay at Cinnamon Beach Villas. The management and staff once again made our stay so memorable - we cannot thank them enough. Fabulous birthday dinner and wonderful dinner with friends courtesy of the chefs at Cinnamon and complimentary sticky rice and mango - yum yum." |
by layla Visit Date:July 14, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "My partner and I stayed at the hotel for 2weeks, we had an amazing time. The hotel staff were great and attended to our every need. The hotel itself was very clean at all times, the location is not to far from Lamai s centre although we are young and love walking so for some it may not be the right place. But scooter or car hire is a must for the ones that dont like walking, though the views are spectactular on the way. I would deffinitley recommend this hotel and do intend to go back at some point for another holiday! Thanks to the staff and surrounding people that accomodated to us on our holiday!" |
by Vorobev Alexander Visit Date:July 1, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very very nice hotel with beautiful garden. The Manager and all staff very helpful and friendly. Only one problem location of the hotel, it s far from Lamai beach and Chaweng. But if you take a Motobaik it just only 200 bat per day this problem gone. Special thanks the manager of the hotel.I will recommend this hotel all my friends and who wants to spend holiday in quiet place." |
by Charlotte Reimann Visit Date:March 18, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "A very nice hotel with excellent surroundings. Very far away from almost anything, but if you re seeking relaxation and a quiet holiday, this is the place to go.
Hotel is small so don t expect the usual big breakfast buffet as in other big Thai hotels. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
by Maria Stark Visit Date:March 11, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "First I was startled that the hotel seemed out of reach, but then I found out, that everything for a nice and relaxed holiday was just around. The staff and all the people are extremely sweet and helpful, even though English wasn t that good, I could always get what I asked for. The garden with it s plants is simply stunning and beautiful. The only thing I do not recommend are the stairs leading down to the pool and beach arrear. If anybody is handicapped, do not go there. When you go down to the beach and walk along the righthand side you will find nice resorts for dinner (The Renaissance, The Radiance at The Spa) and if you do not rent a motorbike you will also have easy access with the open taxis going around (but never pay more than 60 to 80 Baht going to Chaweng) - All in all I felt as a single traveling woman very comfortable and safe at all times in Cinnamon and I am pleased to recommend it to whoever is looking for a nice and quit holiday location away from the very touristic and noisy Chaweng arrear. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

October 26, 2010 by rebecca seabrook Visit Date:October 22, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "We had a great time here.. Room was clean, staff friendly, amazing views over looking the sea, what more can you ask for from a hotel. only problem it was a 5min taxi ride to Lamai strip and you cannot walk 200THB for the taxi but you can hire a moped no problem. STAY HERE we would defo go back 8-)" |
by Damir Visit Date:August 17, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Неплохой отельчик. Бассейн прямо у берега. Есть бесплатные каноэ. Большая проблема сильный отлив. С утра воды нет на расстоянии 50-100 метров от берега. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
by Jiang Yuan Visit Date:August 3, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "I wish I could have stayed more than two days. It s located in a bay which is at North Lamai. Many resorts are here at a quiet bay. We rent a motobike which is only 200b/d and life comes very easy. It s only 5 min drive to Tesco and to GrandMom Grandpa rocks. Even without a motobike, I enjoyed staying in the hotel for the whole day long too. There is a quiet beach to walk on. There is a pool to swim. There is boat to use. There is beach massage. And there is a very lovely dog named Maoma . I love it. Foods here are good and not very expensive. We stayed with a deluxe room and it s good enough. I d like to come back someday. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

by Martin Bjorkell Visit Date:March 30, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "If peace and quiet is your thing, this is the right hotel for you. Despite the location of the hotel (at the far end of Lamai Beach)it was not a long walk to the main ringroad (we usually walked through the nearby Renaissance hotel or the adjacent Uncle Rang restaurant to avoid walking over the hill). From the ringroad it was easy to take a taxi or a taxibus to nearby beaches.
The beach is shallow, so during low tide you have to walk quite far to get to swimming depth. The good side is that the waves brake far from the beach so no high waves are hitting the beach during windy days. Overall the beach was also nice and quiet. No waterscooters to disturb our swimming.
The only thing that we missed was the possibility to go by longtailboat to the center of Lamai beach or to nearby beaches.
The hotel facilities are in excellent condition and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The staff arranged everyting we asked for and the quality of service was very high.
If we ever return to Samui we will defenately stay at Cinnamon. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
Brilliant and very helpful when we decided to move our original bookings. Thanks so much for your support and assistance., May 18, 2009 by Karen Bayliss Visit Date:May 13, 2009 "The Cinnamon Beach Villas was absolutely perfect for us, so much so that we changed our reservation from the White House Beach resort to stay all the time at Cinnamon. The staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to help us, the location and facilities were ideal. We would definitely stay at Cinnamon again - thanks to everyone there who made our stay so enjoyable. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
Worked very well, both for the hotel and the pick-up service, April 1, 2009 by Ellen Margrete Gorseth Visit Date:March 1, 2009 "We were 3 travellers, aged 60+, who loved the Cinnamon Beach Villas! We stayed for 10 nights and found the staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and absolutely clean with a wonderful view. Good Thai or international breakfast, as well as good Thai dinner. The hotel is situated between Lamai and Chaweng in a quiet and beautiful lush garden, so if you want peace and quiet and relaxation at the pool or on the beach, this is the place for you. You easily take a taxi to Lamai or Chaweng if you want to go shopping or see other tourists. We d like to recommend this hotel, and we d like to come back! <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
